wow! planted this amaryliss last year when Nina and Nathan were building their house. it sprouted up the greenery pretty fast and then went to sleep, despite my talking and petting it.
Saturday, we were coming in from service and while taking pics of a baby praying mantis I spotted little pods and started taking pics of the emerging flower.
true beauty is always right before us.
